Get Well Gifts Made for the Person, Not Just the Diagnosis

Just Don't Send Flowers is an online gift company specializing in thoughtful get well gifts, gifts for cancer patients, cancer care packages, surgery recovery gifts, and practical care packages for people going through difficult days.

We started Just Don't Send Flowers more than a decade ago because we saw a need for something more personal than the traditional flowers or generic gift basket sent when someone is sick, recovering from surgery, undergoing cancer treatment, or simply having a really hard time.

Our gifts combine useful comforts, personal-care items, activities, snacks, cozy essentials, and encouraging or humorous messages to create a gift that feels personal to the person receiving it.

We Never Believed One Message Fits Everyone.

People don't all experience cancer, surgery, illness, or recovery the same way. Some appreciate encouragement. Others find comfort in faith. Some cope with humor. Others simply want someone to acknowledge that life can be really hard.

We realized the best get well gift isn't chosen by the diagnosis alone. It's chosen by the person receiving it.

That's why every gift we create starts with a simple question:

"Would someone look at this and think...
That's so them."

If the answer is yes, we've found the right gift.

Care Packages for Cancer, Treatment, Recovery & the Days That Just Suck

Our cancer patient gifts and care packages are designed with the realities of treatment in mind. Rather than treating every cancer experience the same, we offer different gifts for different people, personalities, treatment days, and stages of the experience.

Our get well gifts are created for many of the other moments when someone could use comfort and support, including illness, surgery, hospital stays, recovery at home, and those times when you simply want to let someone know you're thinking about them.

And sometimes cheerful encouragement isn't what fits the person at all.

That's why we created For The Days That Suck™ — gifts for people who appreciate honesty, practical comfort, and a little humor when life gets messy.

Thoughtful Doesn't Have to Mean Generic

Some recipients want something comforting. Some want something funny. Some are faith-oriented. Some love games and activities. Some appreciate practical products they'll actually use. And some would much rather receive a gift that makes them laugh than one that tells them to stay positive.

That's why our collection includes gifts for women and men, different personalities and ages, and different kinds of treatment and recovery experiences. We also offer Build A Gift options for senders who want to create their own care package.

What connects all of them is the same goal: to help the sender choose something that feels like it was selected for this particular person, rather than simply for someone who happens to be sick.

A Real Gift Company Built Around a Simple Idea

Just Don't Send Flowers was founded by Gina Sibley and has spent more than a decade creating and shipping get well gifts and cancer care packages to recipients across the United States.

Our name still says exactly what inspired the company in the first place: when someone you care about is going through cancer, illness, surgery, recovery, or one of life's really difficult moments, sometimes you want to do more than just send flowers.

We help you send something that feels like them.
